Individual Therapy
Life is not always easy to navigate.
At some point, everyone will face challenges that can bring their life to a standstill.
Those challenges may involve difficulties in making decisions, achieving goals, managing relationships with family and friends, or overcoming past experiences that impact current relationships.
Sometimes those challenges can involve trying to establish relationships that are mutually beneficial and meaningful. Some even face issues with grief, inability to communicate effectively, and anxiety.
Individual therapy provides an opportunity to work with someone who has your best interests at heart, as you find ways to navigate the issues you face.

Learn the shape of your feelings.
My approach is calm, direct, and straightforward – focusing on the relationship we build together and what’s happening in the present moment.
This relationship helps us uncover patterns and connections that may not be obvious on the surface, the ones quietly shaping how you feel, relate, and move through your days.
In our sessions, we may use a mix of approaches, depending on what works best for you: brief mindfulness or meditation practices, creative exercises such as art, or even small movement-based explorations.
These tools help bring awareness to how your body and nervous system interact with the challenges in your life, such as anxiety, relationship struggles, creative blocks, or old patterns you’re ready to shift
Individual therapy provides tools for living.
You won’t leave empty-handed. I weave in practical “how-to” tips and tools that many clients find genuinely helpful, including setting boundaries, practicing assertive communication, using journaling prompts, and simple techniques to calm and regulate the nervous system.
These aren’t homework assignments. Instead, they’re integrated into our work so they become second nature over time. I also assess and support lifestyle patterns, such as exercise and sleep, because both are foundational habits that can either help or sabotage your mental health goals.
After several sessions, clients often report feeling more self-aware, confident, and better equipped to handle daily challenges. They also tell me about improvements in their sense of connection with others and their overall sense of well-being – small shifts that add up to a life that feels more like theirs.
If you’re someone who overthinks, feels deeply, and wants fundamental tools (not just insight), this might be precisely what you need. Please get in touch with me today to learn more about my approach to individual therapy.
